Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) pipeline for Ksi Lisims LNG
The Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline would carry feed gas from northeastern BC to the proposed Ksi Lisims LNG plant; the Major Projects Office lists it as part of the Ksi Lisims project, referred on 13 November 2025. The Nisga'a Nation and Western LNG awarded the first construction contract (Surerus Murphy Joint Venture, about 193 km between Chetwynd and Mackenzie) and a subsea pipeline contract (Allseas), CBC News reported on 12 August 2026. Reported lengths differ: about 750 km (Major Projects Office) and about 900 km (CBC).
