Protocol on the Accession of the United Kingdom to the CPTPP (Canada's ratification via Bill C-13) (Bill C-13 (45-1); S.C. 2026, c. 7)
Bill C-13 implements the protocol for the United Kingdom's accession to the CPTPP; royal assent 6 May 2026. Canada announced its ratification on 3 July 2026, and the CPTPP came into force between Canada and the UK on 1 September 2026, complementing the existing Canada–UK Trade Continuity Agreement.
