Apollo (US) agrees to buy KKR's 40% of Pembina Gas Infrastructure, a western Canadian gas-processing company

Pembina Pipeline keeps 60% and runs the plants. KKR, also a US firm, has held the 40% since the company was formed as a Pembina-KKR joint venture in 2022, so the stake passes from one US investor to another. Apollo expected closing by the end of June 2026; we found no closing announcement.

O2 Faster, and more volume reaches the US (this level or higher)Neutral weakSays nothing about volumes to the US.
O3 Locked-in preferential terms for the USNeutral weakThe stake moves from one US investor to another, so the level of US ownership does not change.
