US IEEPA fentanyl tariff of 10% on China takes effect

An additional 10% US tariff on Chinese goods, justified by fentanyl flows and signed on 1 February 2025, took effect on 4 February. The same weekend the US ordered 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico (10% on Canadian energy); those were paused for 30 days on 3 February.
