Canada–British Columbia Cooperative Prosperity Agreement (Canada–BC CPA 2026-07-02)
Intergovernmental agreement, not a law. Federal support for the North Coast Transmission Line (Phases 1–2), which BC says means a $3.9B net benefit to ratepayers, and for the Massey Tunnel (up to $3B); BC commits to good-faith routing/permitting talks on the West Coast pipeline if Canada keeps the north-coast tanker ban 'without alteration, suspension, or narrowing of scope', supports First Nations equity and negotiates a legally binding revenue framework. Annex A deadlines 2026-12-01 and 2027-06-01.
Stages
