Ontario's C$1B plan to finish the Ring of Fire roads about five years early
Ontario released a plan on 2 March 2026 to complete the all-season roads to the Ring of Fire five years ahead of schedule, backed by C$1 billion: construction of the Webequie Supply Road from June 2026 and the Marten Falls Community Access Road from August 2026, with roads beginning to open in November 2030 and the Northern Road Link following (Daily Commercial News).
