McIlvenna Bay copper mine
The McIlvenna Bay copper-zinc mine in east-central Saskatchewan, developed by Foran Mining and owned by Eldorado Gold since it acquired Foran on 14 April 2026. It was among the first five projects referred to the Major Projects Office (11 September 2025). It produced its first copper concentrate in June 2026 and was ramping up toward commercial production in the third quarter of 2026 (Eldorado Gold).
