Nutrien potash export terminal, Longview WA (US port)
A proposed potash export terminal of 5 to 6 million tonnes a year at the Port of Longview, Washington, which Nutrien chose in November 2025 over Canadian ports, citing labour, rail-connected logistics, economics and access to customers; Nutrien put its cost at $500 million to $1 billion and expects a final investment decision in 2027. Transport Minister Steven MacKinnon said he was disappointed and hoped to change the company's mind.
