Churchill Falls–Labrador West transmission line

A proposed transmission line from Churchill Falls to Labrador West, to power iron-ore mining in the Labrador Trough. Recommended by the Churchill River Independent Review Committee, it was included in the Churchill Falls agreement of 17 August 2026, with about C$1 billion (2026 net present value) of federal support according to the Newfoundland and Labrador government.
